About The Artist:
Nancy Dean Kreger, the 2011 poster artist, grew up on a farm in western Massachusetts and moved to Santa Fe in 1991. She has a BFA in Visual Design and found a passion for vivid watercolors while painting in Provence, Tuscany and Santa Fe. She’s the visual designer and co-owner of Kreger Design Build with her architect builder husband, Bob.Nancy’s paintings evoke the delicious essence of a place. Her heart sings “Art is food for the soul!” when she’s painting outside. She uses vibrant paint colors with touches of charcoal or ink to make her watercolors pop.
Nancy is currently represented by Posters of Santa Fe postersofsantafe.com, Museum of New Mexico Foundation Shops and newmexicocreates.org. She is a member of the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico. Nancy has had one woman shows and group shows in Santa Fe, France and Italy. Her work is in private collections in the United States, Montreal and London.
